
Pittsburgh foodies know January means one thing – the return of Pittsburgh Restaurant Week!
This year, we are happily ushering the return of the “most delicious time of year” with over 60 (!!) Pittsburgh restaurants participating. As part of the celebration, these restaurants are offering special, discounted menus, featuring exciting dishes at an incredible price point. And be sure to stay hungry – many of the participating restaurants are offering both lunch and dinner deals.
The Winter 2019 Pittsburgh Restaurant Week runs from January 14-20.

Potato Leek Soup at The Twisted FrenchmanÂ

For restaurant week the East Liberty favorite The Twisted Frenchman is offering a special three-course dinner menu for $35.19 per person. For the first course, guests select between Potato leek Soup, Beetroots, and a Pâté de Champagne. Lasagne alla Veneta at Senti

This restaurant week you don’t want to miss out on the Lasagne alla Veneta at Senti restaurant in Lawrenceville. Senti’s most popular dish, this drool-worthy meal is comprised of Veneto-style lasagna with beef ragu and bechamel sauce. The lasagna is served as part of their dinner special, which also features a salad appetizer and tiramsu for dessert.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts at Bonfire Food & Drink

Bonfire Food & Drink is a brand-new restaurant from the team behind the former Oakland-favorite Avenue B. Located on East Carson Street in the South Side, Bonfire is offering special lunch and dinner menus for restaurant week. Be sure to try Bonfire’s beloved Brussels sprouts, served with smoked grapes, hazelnuts, and brown butter aioli.

Poblano Soup at fl.2

Fl.2, the Downtown hotspot located on the second floor of the Fairmont Hotel, is offering both lunch and dinner menus for restaurant week. Both menus are exceptional, but be sure to try the Poblano Soup, available as part of fl.2’s lunch menu. Served with crema and guajillo oil, it’s a perfect amuse-bouche to the main course options (your choice of cacio e pepe, an open faced chicken & brie tartine, or a burger).

As part of their special, three-course restaurant week dinner menu, Spoon is preparing a wild boar ragu. This decadent dish is served with grilled sourdough, fresh ricotta, and pickled red onion.

Revival on Lincoln is a new restaurant located inside of beautiful, historic mansion on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue, PA. If you haven’t yet been, restaurant week is a wonderful reason to check Revival out, as the restaurant is offering a special three-course dinner menu. Be sure to try the chorizo meatballs, served with ancho cream and asiago cheese.

Banh Mi Burger at Coughlin’s Law

Views of Downtown Pittsburgh? Check. Tom Cruise reference? Check. All of this and more can be yours at Coughlin’s Law, located on Virginia Avenue in Mount Washington. As part of restaurant week, Coughlin’s Law is offering a “Banh Mi Burger,” comprised of a pork patty with pickled root veggies, tabasco aioli, shaved jalapenos, and micro cilantro.

Pierogies at Stuff’d Pierogi Bar

Restaurant week is the perfect time to get your pierogi fix at Stuff’d! As part of their restaurant week offerings, guests select their choice of Potato n Cheese, Buffalo chicken, Pulled Pork, Chicken Marsala, Philly Mushroom Cheesesteak, Reuben, or Mac n Cheese pierogies. Appetizers include loaded fries, stuff’d cabbage, and haluski.

Satisfy your pasta cravings DiAnoia’s this restaurant week! This popular Italian eatery, located on Penn Avenue in The Strip, is offering a three-course dinner menu for $28.19. For the main course, be sure to try the Cacio E Pepe, featuring house-made spaghetti, parmigiano reggiano, pecorino romano, and black pepper.

Looking to warm up this January? Head to Fujiya Ramen in Shadyside for their special restaurant week ramen menu. Guests begin their meal with their choice of Pork & Chive, Gyoza, or Takoyaki appetizers. The main course is a choice of Tonkotsu, Spicy Miso, Chicken, or Katsu Curry ramen. We recommend trying the house Tonkotsu ramen, which features pork broth with pork belly chashu, bamboo shoots, scallions, and seaweed.

Pork Ribs in Pasilla Sauce at La Palapa

La Palapa is famous for bringing Pittsburgh the flavors of Mexico via their mobile food truck and new, East Carson Street location. For restaurant week, La Palapa is serving pork ribs in pasilla sauce, made from dried pasilla chile. The meal begins with Chayote Soup, and finishes with a Snow Ball dessert (Ice Cream covered with Corn Flakes on top of Sopapillas).
