Drink up – it’s for a good cause.
Maggie’s Farm Rum Distillery is hosting a Rum Tasting party this Thursday, with proceeds benefiting the Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti.
The $5K Rum is being held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maggie’s Farm. Each ticket is $50 per person, and includes two rum punch cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres, and three rum tastings, including Haitian sipping rum, and local Pittsburgh-made rums.
The event is being held to raise $5,000 for a hospital in Haiti, started by a Pittsburgh native.
