May 26, 2020 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

If one of your favorite Pittsburgh restaurants have been closed for the last couple of months, you’re in luck – a number of spots that shut down operations at the beginning of the stay-at-home order have now reopened for takeout and delivery.

The Federal Galley’s Provision PGH is now open seven days a week at Hop Farm Brewing from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. for takeout orders. They have burgers, assorted sandwiches (including fried chicken and smoked salmon), and their fantastic Provision fries. Provision PGH (5601 Butler Street)

The Summit
Mt. Washington

Cocktails, beer and food to-go are all available at The Summit now, which just re-opened last weekend. Look for brisket tacos, Mac & Cheese, Crab Rangoon and assorted snacks, plus Negronis, Old Fashioneds, and Moscow Mules to go. The Summit (200 Shiloh Street)

The first Milkshake Factory location to re-open is in McCandless Crossing, offering their super-thick (and super-delicious) shakes and chocolates from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday through Monday. The store is open for in-person ordering, but cash will not be accepted at this time. Other location opening dates will be announced soon. The Milkshake Factory (9180 Covenant Avenue)

Butterjoint All Day & Pie for Breakfast

Butterjoint All Day and Pie for Breakfast are now offering contactless pickup five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays), along with Friday deliveries for orders over $75 within five miles of the restaurant. Their online store will be “ever-evolving” with grocery items like homemade yogurt, eggs and bacon, along with menu items like meatloaf, quiche and Chicken Paprikash. Butterjoint All Day (214 N. Craig Street)

Madeleine Bakery & Bistro is open regularly from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. (check their Instagram page for daily updates), with sandwiches, cookies, baked goods and breads available for contactless pickup. Counter service is also available, and face masks and social distancing are required when in the shop. Call 412-371-1010 to order. Madeleine Bakery & Bistro (609 S. Trenton Avenue)

Morcilla
Lawrenceville

Curbside pickup is available at Morcilla on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and orders can be placed in advance on their site. Options are updated weekly, but previous menu items have included Oxtail Montadito, Roasted Broccoli with Romesco and Za’atar, and a Quarantine Feast, with Arroz Con Pitu de Caleya.
