Great news for cider fans! This Saturday, March 25, Arsenal Cider is hosting the grand opening for their newest location at Trax Farms in Finleyville.
This will be the third location for the popular Lawrenceville-based cider company. Since opening in 2010, the Civil War-themed winery has been specializing in small batch hard apple cider, “cider style” fruit and grape wines and mead.
In 2015, Arsenal opened a satellite location at Soergel Orchards in Wexford. Trax Farms, the site of their newest location, has been operating for over 150 years and provides everything from fresh produce to homemade baked goods. The Arsenal Cider served at Trax Farms will be made with Trax Farm apples.
The grand opening will be on Saturday, March 25Â from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Food trucks, including Blowfish BBQ, Franktuary and Wild River Kettle Korn will be on site, and there will be live music from the Weathered Road. The event is free to attend.
After the grand opening, the Trax Farm Arsenal Cider location will be open year round, Â Wednesdays through Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 8:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6:00 p.m.
