Big news for beer fans.
Hough’s has just announced plans for a Belgian Beer Fest – and it’s coming up quickly.
On Saturday, May 14, they’ll be hosting three sessions throughout the day, where guests can sample 25 different Belgian beers, including Scotch De Silly, Bourbon Barrel, De Garre Amber Triple, Kasteel Blond, Gulden Draak, Monks Café (Sour) and Piraat Triple Hop.
As an added bonus, Jef Versele, the seventh-generation brewmaster from Belgium’s Van Steenberge Brewery, will be on hand, chatting about all things beer, including the brewery’s award-winning Belgian ales Piraat and Gulden Draak.
Why the fast turnaround from Belgian Beer Fest idea to event?
Hough’s Cassie Hough says that when they found out they had an opportunity to have Versele in their taproom, they knew they had to do something big.
“We have gotten a lot of requests for Belgian beers from our patrons, so we hope to showcase some of the best we can get our hands on,” she says.
The three sessions run from noon to 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Tickets are $55 per person, and can be purchased on their event page.
