The Biergarten at Hotel Monaco is reopening this week, offering an expansive rooftop space for warm-weather revelry.
The downtown establishment will open on Thursday, April 15, with a new menu from executive chef Dave Racicot, specialty cocktails, and live music from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on opening night.
New menu items include the Biergarten Griddle Burger (with charred onioni, sun-dried tomato jam, dill pickles, and American cheese), Hard Cider-marinated chicken, and a Shrimp Roll served with spicy cocktail mayo. Classic Biergarten favorites, like the Biergarten Pretzel, served with beer cheese and spicy brown mustard, and ‘The German’ sandwich, with braised pork butt, Black Forest ham, kielbasa, sauerkraut and mustard, will also be available.
Other snack-able dishes include charcuterie platters, hummus with roasted eggplant and ‘everything’ seasoned flatbreads, and an asparagus sald with Buratta cheese and white balsamic-truffle vinaigrette.

The Biergarten also features a selection of nearly 100 local, domestic and imported beers (with plenty of German options), and a soon-to-be-released 2021 cocktail menu.
Opening hours will be Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with hours and days expanding later in the season. The last nightly seating will be at 9:00 p.m., but closing time is 11:00 p.m.
Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
