Heads up to carnivores in Pittsburgh – Hitchhiker Brewing is teaming up with Block 292 in Mt. Lebanon for a special Butcher and Brewer dinner on Wednesday, March 8.
Block 292 is a hybrid butcher, market, and restaurant on Beverly Road in Mt. Lebanon, with a reputation for supplying Pittsburgh with responsibly raised and locally sourced meat, poultry, and dairy. The Butcher and Brewery dinner will feature local meats that are butchered in house.
The dinner will give Pittsburghers the chance to sample dishes from Block 292’s kitchen, expertly paired with beer from Hitchhiker Brewing. Before starting at Block 292, Executive Chef Christian Schulz worked in kitchens across the city, including Root 174 and the Crested Duck.
The menu includes:
- Lamb Carpaccio paired with “Shape of Things” IPA
- Pork Belly and Prawns paired with “Conversation” American Blonde Ale
- Beef Salisbury Steak paired with “Worker and Queen” Honey Saison
- Ice Cream Sandwich paired with “Woke” Breakfast Stout
Tickets are $55 per person and can be purchased online.
