On Wednesday, December 2, join East End Book Exchange for a reading with Simran Sethi, author of the newly-released ‘Bread, Wine, Chocolate.’
In the book, Sethi explores the history and cultural importance of those three beloved tastes, and shares the story of how some of the world’s favorite foods are endangered by genetic erosion – meaning that in the world today, 95% of all calories consumed come from only 30 species.
The reading, which will include a question-and-answer session with Sethi, kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
