Celebrate Brew Gentlemen’s vegetable-forward seasonal beer at an outdoor bash on Saturday, August 31.
From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the Braddock brewery will be hosting a party, with food trucks and vendors, a mini farmers market, family-friendly activities, and (of course), lots of beer, including Garden Party, their beloved American Wheat Ale made with fresh cucumbers.
The party will take place in BG Open Air, their newly-opened outdoor space, located in the alleyway behind Brew Gentlemen’s main Braddock Avenue taproom.
Participating food trucks will include Gaucho Asada, Pittsburgh Tortas, Gyros N’at and Camfired Pizza, along with Piebird, and Leona’s Ice Cream, who will be making a special edition ice cream sandwich, featuring cucumber ice cream on orange blossom shortbread. Caffe d’Amore will also have a selection of refreshing house-mixed drinks.
Draft beer will be available inside the taproom and outside at the event, including $5 drafts of General Braddock, Garden Party, Arsenal Cider and select other brews in BG Open Air.
Admission to the event is free, and all food and beverages are pay-as-you-go.
All ages are welcome, and there will be plenty of activities to keep you busy, including corn hole, ping pong, DIY silk screening and button making, a make-your-own bouquet station with Sol Patch Garden, a plant-potting station with Local Roots Landscaping, and a farmers market with Chaganra Farm.
This event will mark the fifth annual release of Garden Party from Brew Gentlemen.
