Is there anything cuter than pups in a pool? We don’t think so!

Two local pools are hosting dog-friendly swims on the unofficial last day of summer, and your dog is invited to join the fun!

At the 10th Annual Dormont Doggie Dip at the Dormont Pool on Monday, September 3, dogs are invited into the pool to cool off from 3:45 to 8:00 p.m. The dogs will be separated into size groups, with small dogs (30 lbs. and under) taking over the pool from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., an all dog session from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and large dogs only (60 lbs. or more) from 6:45 to 8:00 p.m.

Tickets to the event are $25 per dog online, and $35 at the door. Registration is open to 150 dogs per session. All proceeds will benefit Humane Animal Rescue and the Dormont Pool. More information can be found online.

The South Park Wave Pool is also opening up to puppers on Monday, September 3 for their third annual Pooches in the Pool event.

From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., dogs are invited to join the super-soaked fun by jumping in the wave pool. Tickets are $15 per dog, and each dog will receive a swag bag filled with goodies. More information is available online.

For both events, all dogs must have up-to-date rabies tags and vaccinations.
