Lawrenceville, get ready for some good burgers.
Burgher’s, the gourmet burger and fries restaurant with a location in Harmony, quietly opened on Butler Street on Monday.
Owner Fiore Moletz says that the restaurant is hosting a soft opening this week, and will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for lunch and dinner.
Grand opening plans haven’t been finalized yet, but Moletz tells us that the restaurant will eventually be open daily for lunch and dinner, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
The food menu at the Lawrenceville Burgher’s will be the same as the location in Harmony, with burgers made using locally-sourced beef and farm-to-table toppings. Burgher’s locally-inspired specialty burgers, like the Polish Hill (with cheddar, caramelized onion, pierogi and mayo), the Fox Chapel (with goat cheese, mixed greens, pickled onion, avocado and balsamic reduction), and the Forest Hills (with bleu cheese, sautéed mushroom, mixed greens, and honey), will also all be available at the Lawrenceville location (and so will the restaurant’s Lawrenceville veggie bean burger, served with mojo sauce, mixed greens, avocado, tomato, and pickled onion on a wheat bun).
Eventually, the restaurant will also offer a bar, serving local beers and craft cocktails.
