Calling all Harry Potter fans! For the July edition of their popular “After Dark” series, the Carnegie Museum is throwing a magical party – and you’re invited!
Potterfest After Dark, a 21+ party celebrating all things Potter, will be held on Friday, July 19 from 6:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Oakland.
Attendees will learn the science that inspired potions, spells, and magical objects in the series. There will also be Harry Potter trivia, and live animals for “Care of Magical Creatures.” Guests are encouraged to wear costumes.
The “After Hours” series is for 21+ guests only, but the museum is also hosting an Potterfest All Ages event on Friday, June 28. This family-friendly evening will feature live animals, costumes, activities, and more.
Tickets for both events can be purchased online.
For the After Dark event, the bar is CASH ONLY. Drinks and light food are sold separately from admission ticket.
