For the summer edition of their “After Dark” series, the Carnegie Museum is transporting guests to Hogwarts for “Potterfest,” a night of magical mischief at the museum.
This 21+ event is a night of witches, wizards, and magic, themed around the wizarding world of Harry Potter. On Friday, July 21, the museum will be transformed into Hogwarts, and guests will be able to visit classes like Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, and more.
Get sorted into your Hogwarts house, meet live owls, take home a plant from a “Herbology” lesson, and stare into the “Mirror of Erised” at this lively night at the museum!
There will also be a costume contest, magical scavenger hunt, and music, as well as signature Harry Potter cocktails. Tickets for the event include admission to museums summer exhibition, “The Power of Poison” (normally $5 to enter).
Beer, wine, and snacks will be available for purchase, cash only.
Tickets for the event are $15.00, and $13.50 for members of the museum, and can be purchased online.

So unfair!! I’m not 21 but it would be so much fun that sounds so cool I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and this is such the event for me! Guess I have to wait 5 more years to go… if it’s even still going on in 5 years..
