Summon your most magical friends for an adults-only summer evening at the Carnegie Museum!
On Friday, July 13, the museum will be hosting their summer edition of their “After Dark” series, which will transport guests to Hogwarts for “Potterfest,” a night of magical mischief at the museum.
This 21+ event will get started after the museum closes, and will feature witches, wizards, and real-world magic found in the natural world. Throughout the evening, the museum will host some Harry Potter-inspired activities, and will feature classes like ‘Care of Magical Creatures’ and ‘Potions.’
Dress up as your favorite character to enter their costume contest, and take part in their wizard-themed scavenger hunt throughout the museum.
And yes, there will be cocktails, too! The cash-only bar will feature wizard-inspired signature drinks, beer, and snacks available for purchase.
Adding to the fun, there will be music and dancing all night from DJ Bill Jakub from Pittsburgh Vibes Unlimited.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $13.50 for museum members. This year, they’re also offering a special Fast Pass ticket for $32.50, which will allow guests to access to shorter bar lines and express check-ins.
Potterfest After Dark will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
All guests must be at least 21 years old to enter, and proper identification will be required.
