Santa Claus is coming BACK to town… for four days, at least.
Pittsburgh was overjoyed to celebrate the holidays last December with the pop-up bar, Miracle on Liberty, located on Liberty Avenue Downtown. The decked out, over-the-top Christmas-themed cocktail bar was only open from the end of November through New Year’s Day, and was immediately a hit, with people queuing on the sidewalk to get into the tiny, 45-person room.
And now, in some great news for fans of cocktails and holiday cheer, the Miracle on Liberty pop-up is returning for a special summer edition of their holiday pop-up, called ‘Christmas in Summer.’
As first reported by Pittsburgh Magazine, from Friday, July 7 through Monday, July 10, Station in Bloomfield will turn into a summertime Christmas wonderland, serving up holiday-themed cocktails with a refreshing seasonal twist. The bar will be decked out with loads of holiday cheer, so dust off your ugly Christmas sweaters and get ready to party.
From Pittsburgh Magazine:
The cocktail menu is similar to the wintertime edition, but augmented for the summer. “They’ll have winter spices, but be more refreshing because it’s hot outside,” Warren says. For example, Yippie Ki Yay now features mango orgeat and Summer Muletide is mixed with peaches and Natrona Bottling Company peach-ginger beer.
A portion of the proceeds from Christmas in Summer will be donated to 412 Food Rescue.
