Calling all superhero super fans! The time has come to don your cape and mask for the next After Hours event at the Carnegie Library in Oakland. The Spring 2017 theme is “Cocktails & Kryptonite,” and will celebrate all things superhero.
Local beverage suppliers like Pennsylvania Libations, Full Pint Brewing, Rock Bottom, Wigle Whiskey, and Faber Liquors will be handling the cocktails, and the Pub Chip Shop will be serving their legendary Just Good Donuts, along with other treats.
Activities include trivia, live music, button-making, silent auction, coloring, screen printing, face painting, and a scavenger hunt for the Library Batman.
Cocktails and Kryptonite will be held on April 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and guests must be 21 to attend. Tickets are $30 for general admission, and $45 VIP. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks are included in the ticket price. Proceeds from the event support the day-to-day operations of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
