A project years in the making will open next month in The Strip District.
Cinderlands Beer Co, a popular brewery that opened a brewpub in Lawrenceville at the end of 2017, has quietly been renovating the former Spaghetti Warehouse space in The Strip District into a larger outpost for their brand.
Well, the wait is finally over! The new space will open on Tuesday, May 7, and have a grand opening celebration on Friday, May 10.
Dubbed the “Cinderlands Warehouse,” this new location features a two-story venue with a full bar, dining room, louge, outdoor patio, and an open concept kitchen.
In this expanded space, Cinderlands will now offer and expanded drink menu. The brewery will now operate from a 15 barrel system, expanded from their 3.5 barrel system in Lawrenceville. Head Brewer Paul Schneider is planning to use this increased production to offer 8-16 beers on draft, and can releases every two weeks or so.

Guests can expect to see the original seven categories they explored at the Butler St. location: Hop-Driven, Pilsners & Lagers, Tartshake IPA, Stout, Fruited Sour Wheat, Farmhouse, and Tea & Coffee Beer.
An eighth category, Barrel-Aged, will debut with the new space. The Warehouse will offer a private dining room, named “Barrel Room,” which will feature a two-story wall stacked with 50 oak barrels. Additionally, Lawrenceville location will focus on brewing farmhouse beers.
The Warehouse will also offer wine and cocktails featuring PA wineries and distilleries.
The food menu, spearheaded by executive chef Joe Kiefer, will have a nod to hearty Pittsburgh tastes and traditions. Expect dishes like meat platters, salty snacks, sandwiches and seasonal vegetable dishes, all made from scratch in the kitchen.
“On Butler St, we make big dumb sandwiches. Now that we have more space, I’m excited to finally be able to make big dumb entrees,” says Kiefer.
