Downtown, get ready for some brand new takeout options.
Richard DeShantz’s Coop de Ville and täkō are opening for takeout and delivery starting Tuesday, May 19.
On Tuesdays through Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8:00 p.m., you can order for pickup from both restaurants through the TOAST takeout app, or through DoorDash for delivery. Pickup for both will be at tako downtown.
Each restaurant will be offering a limited menu. From Coop, you’ll be able to get fried chicken (available in white meat, dark meat, and half-a-bird), plus their classic sandwiches (served with house pickles, mayo and lettuce), in a variety of seasonings and with a selection of sauces. They’ll also have sides, including fries, baked beans, Ranch slaw, collard greens and macaroni salad.
täkō will be offering Taco Kits on the menu, with a choice of protein (pork, chicken, fish, or steak), and a selection of accopaniments, including queso, cilantro, onion, pico, salsa verde, lime, and six house-made flour tortillas.
Extras, including guamole, chips and fundido are also available, as is the restaurant’s Coconut Tres Leches for dessert.
