Planning to be in New York City next week… or, want to take a quick trip to support a local chef?
Cure’s Justin Severino (a James Beard Award nominee), and Hilary Prescott Severino will be serving their signature ‘Urban Mediterranean’ cuisine at the Beard House in New York on Monday, October 20.
Tickets for the event are on sale for $170 per person (or $130 if you happen to be a Beard House member), and can be purchased online.
Severino’s menu for the event takes a seasonal approach to nose-to-tail dining, with dishes including:
- Hibiscus-Cured Copper River Salmon with ginger yogurt, roship honey, roasted cucumber, marcona almonds, orange, fernet and cilantro
- Jubilee Hilltop Ranch Beef Tartare with pickled mushrooms, celery, black garlic, dehydrated pickled onion, Parmesan and aspic
- Gnudi with tomato conserva, bacalao, lardo, bottarga, Calabrian chiles, pumpkin brood, grana padano and sage
- Chocolate Souffle Cake with pistachio butter, concord grape must, burnt meringue, olive oil and sea salt
The dinner includes beer (Pittsburgh favorite East End Brewing gets a shout out!), cocktail and wine pairings.
