The King family of Freedom Farms is celebrating Independence Day weekend with a little outdoor fun on the farm.
On Sunday, July 5, they’ll be hosting a Farm to Fork dinner in the field, with local food and creative drinks.
The dinner will feature Freedom Farms summer produce and meat, and featured drinks include local beer and local Kombucha.
Before dinner starts, all guests are invited to participate in a free yoga class in the field, offered by Butler Yoga Works – just bring your own mat.
Tickets to the dinner are $30 each, and can be purchased on their event page.
On the menu:
- Chicken Salad Sandwiches on wheat rolls with lettuce and tomato
- BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders with cole slaw
- Farm Market Veggie Wraps with provolone, roasted red pepper hummus and fresh corn salsa
- Coleslaw with apple cider vinegar
- Fresh Fruit Salad with melons, stone fruits, and berries
- Corn on the Cob
