On Monday, May 11, Eleven (1150 Smallman Street), will be hosting a five-course dinner to benefit Slow Food Pittsburgh.
The menu was designed especially for Slow Food Pittsburgh by Eleven’s executive chef Derek Stevens, and Bill Fuller, executive chef of Big Burrito Group.
Tickets to the event include dinner, with wine pairings, and the full ticket price will be donated to Slow Food.
On the menu:
Amuse Bouche: Morel and Egg Toast
First Course: Elysian Fields Farm Lamb Tartare, kim chi, egg, and peanut
Second Course: Cured Pennsylvania Trout, baby lettuces, radish, marinated cucumber, and crème fraiche
Third Course: Ramp and Spaghetti Carbonara, guanciale, peas, parmesan and ramp ash
Fourth Course: Pastrimi-spiced Prime Beef, dandelion greens, marble potatoes, Dijon and pickles
Dessert: Rootbeer Semifreddo, sassafras syrup and bourbon cream
