A buzzworthy event is happening Friday, July 28, at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium.

The zoo is hosting a 21+ event entitled “Summer Safari – Colors of the Jungle.”

For the event, Ehrlich Pest Control will have a selection of gourmet edible insect to eat as part of their “Pestaurant.” Some of the included edible bug-bites are: Moroccan Spiced Crickets, Chocolate Chirp Cookies, Savory Bacon & Cheddar Crickets, Cheddar Meal Worms, Sweet Worm Lollipops, and Ant Lollipops.

Additionally, tickets to the event include a stroll through the zoo (with access to the brand new Jungle Odyssey exhibit), live entertainment, cocktails, and food.

Tickets are $85 per person, $145 for VIP tickets (includes access to private party), and can be purchased online.
