Summer in the city…there’s nothing better. Today, we talk about what we’re most excited about eating, drinking, and doing throughout our favorite season.

Part 1

We take a deep dive into our 28 Excellent Things to Eat, Drink and Experience this summer, and talk about the summer menu at Ki Ramen, Michigan & Trumbull’s Coney Island Dog Mondays, and the ‘super secret’ burger at Cinderlands. Madeline’s favorite part of the summer is always the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival – and she shares exactly why she loves it so much.

Part 3 

Mediterra Cafe has opened in Sewickley, much to our unending joy. They’re going to have sandwiches, salads, avocado toast, and a huge selection of specialty food products, too. And of course, their amazing bread will be available.

Part 4

We discuss a new mural in Los Angeles that’s only open for photos to people who have more than 20,000 Instagram followers. We think it’s brilliant marketing… but for what? (And also kind of stupid.) Let us know what you think!

Finally, we share the best things we ate this week. Madeline is loving the smoothies at Salud  Juicery, and Emily has a full list of tasty things she’s eaten this week, including her own homemade Small Batch Strawberry Vanilla Jam, Brooklyn’s famous Di Fara’s pizza, and doughnuts at Just Good Donuts.
