Pittsburgh is experiencing a restaurant boom, with 24 new restaurants opening this summer. We talk all about our favorites, and what we’re looking forward to next. Plus, what happens when you get not-so-great service at a no tipping restaurant, and the best Fall recipes from Pittsburgh bloggers.
Part 1
Two dozen restaurants have opened in Pittsburgh in the last three months, including some seriously good ones. A few to check out include Fish nor Fowl, Duncan Street Sandwich Society, and the Black Cat Market – or, you could just read about all 24 new restaurants here.
Part 2
We’ve talked before about what happens when you have a really bad experience at one of your favorite restaurants… but now, we talk about what happens when you have a bad service experience at a no-tipping restaurant? We discuss.
Part 3
We head into the kitchen to talk about 15 of the best Fall recipes from Pittsburgh’s best bloggers – and Emily talks about squeezing the last bits out of summer by making Marcella Hazen’s Tomato Sauce with Butter & Onions, and Bon Appetit’s Coconut Rice Noodles with Ginger & Turmeric.
Part 4
The best things we ate this week came courtesy of Lancaster County and Michigan & Trumbull.
