Eliza’s Oven, the one-woman bake shop based out of the Pittsburgh Public Market, is known for their boozy treats, like Drunken Oatmeal Cupcakes made with whiskey and Chocolate Cherry Stout pies.
And they’re going all out on the libations this Father’s Day, and teaming up with Green Flash Brewing for a special Beer Brunch.
The four-course brunch is taking place this Sunday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Point Breezeway (7113 Reynolds Street). Seats are $40 per person, and include Green Flash beer pairings.
On the menu:
- First course: Quiche with pancetta topped with Hop Head Red and brown sugar-caramelized Brussels sprouts
- Second course: Double stout-baked French toast
- Third course: Cream, cheddar and IPA custard topped with a fried grit patty and Cajun-spiced prawn
- Fourth course: Buttermilk Brioche cups filled with IPA lime curd, and topped with creamy local camembert
You must pre-register for the event online, and there are only a few spots available.
