We were incredibly excited to hear that one of our favorite Pittsburgh restaurants, Legume, is starting the long road to launch a second restaurant – and equally excited that the crew at Legume is sharing that journey with their fans and followers.
Earlier this month, Legume’s Trevett Hooper announced plans to open a small, Eastern European-inspired restaurant named Dacha. While the concept is set – Hooper says they’re looking for an outlet that would allow them to get back to their roots of experimental cooking – the restaurant is still in the early stages of development.
In order to do some hands-on research, Hooper and colleague Darrion Bowen have embarked on a massive journey through Eastern Europe, and they’ll be sharing their trip through blog posts, photos and more, highlighting their stops in Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
You can follow Hooper’s travel blog here, Bowen’s blog here, and see all of the photos on Instagram here.
