April 9-April 10: Food Truck Roundup at Tanger Outlets
Washington’s Tanger Outlets will be hosting some of Pittsburgh’s favorite food trucks on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10. Participating food trucks include BRGR, PUBLIC Mobile Kitchen, Mac and Gold Truck, Oh My Grill, PGH Crepes, Southside BBQ, PGH Pierogi Truck, PGH Halal, Bella Christie Sweet Boutique, Las Chicas, Ripepi Winery and Reece Winery. April 15-24: Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week
Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week is back, with a full lineup of events all week long. PCBW highlights Pittsburgh’s craft beer culture, with tons of limited-edition brews, new releases, and parties at bars and restaurants all over town. Our picks?

April 17: Tenth Third Brunch Block Walk
Explore Lawrenceville’s 10th Ward with live music, sidewalk sales, outdoor brunching, and parking lot party on 54th and Butler. Participating restaurants include Spirit, Hop Farm Brewing Company, Caffe d’Amore, B52, the Butterwood Bake Consortium, Second Breakfast, and the Allegheny Wine Mixer. More info is available online.
April 22: Science & Brews: The Science of Ice Cream at The Citizen Science Lab
Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream’s Chad and Lauren Townsend will be discussing the science of ice cream while guests enjoy brews at this 21+ event. Tickets are $16.37, and can be purchased online.
April 23: Oysterfest 2016 at Blue Dust
Homestead’s Blue Dust gastropub will host their third Oysterfest on Saturday, April 23 with fresh West Coast oysters from Oregon’s Roge Farms, with live music, food trucks, special cocktails, and more than 20 craft beers. Visit their event page for more information.
Various Dates: Beer + Yoga at Brew Gentlemen
The Brew Gentlemen is kicking off their spring Beer + Yoga series with Sunday and Thursday sessions throughout April and May. Classes are $5 each, and include a complimentary 5 oz. beer. April 19: Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science Tour at the Benedum Center
Food Network’s Alton Brown is bringing his live food and science show to the Benedum Center on Tuesday, April 19. The live, interactive show includes “a perfect base of science, music and food into two hours of pure entertainment.” Tickets start at $37.25 and are available online.
April 29: Brewer’s Ball at the Wyndham Grand Downtown
The Brewer’s Ball, a beer tasting event that benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will feature over 60 different types of beer from local craft breweries, and feature bites from 15 Pittsburgh restaurants.
