Lola Bistro is pairing wine with classic French food for one special night.
On Thursday, August 27, they’re hosting a late-summer French Wine Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The five-course meal is $70 per person, and includes wine pairings.
On the menu:
- First course: Grilled House-Made Brioche, with fennel-wood smoked pork belly, mélange of corn and tomatoes. Paired with Domaine de Begrolles Muscadent-Sevre et Main sur Lie 2013
- Second Course: Rabbit Croquette, with herbed house pasta, blistered grapes and marjoram. Paired with Chateaux Tertre de Viaud Cote de Bourg 2011
- Third Course: Nicoise, with seared tuna, summer beans, potatoes and quail egg. Paired with Chateau du Campuget Le Campuget Grenache Viognier White Blend 2014
- Fourth Course: Beef Roulade with pistachio and fines herbes pistour, with herbed gratin dauphinois and grilled nectarine. Paired with Domaine Monpertuis Vin de Pays du Gard Vignoble de la Ramiere 2010
- Dessert: Lemon Lavender Flan, with black currant coulis, and lemon thyme cookie. Paired with Sainte Victoire Grande Reserve Cotes de Provence Sainte Victoire Rose 2014
