There are almost too many good things to eat and drink this weekend in Pittsburgh. Our weekend picks?

It’s not always easy to find perfectly prepared scallops… but Senti‘s latest special is just that. They’re serving up pan-seared scallops with gnoochi, sauteed spinach, and a puree of butternut squash. (And don’t forget about dessert – right now, they have a Panna Cotta on the menu that’s been infused with rosemary, and served with a burnt sugar syrup. That alone is worth the trip).

Back by popular demand, Pittsburgh Po’Boy has a limited number of grilled andouille poboys, served with pickled banana peppers, lettuce, and creole mustard, with just enough of a bite to get you moving this weekend.

Always on the menu, and always so good: We’re craving the fried fish sandwich (with fries and classic old-school cole slaw) at Wholey’s. And we’re going to get it.

Thank you, Kaleidoscope Cafe, for proving that something so healthy can be so delicious. Right now, they have this amazing special of organic zucchini ‘noodles’ with a turkey bolognese – but go quickly, because it will only be around through Saturday.

If you haven’t had Grandview Bakery’s cheese cups yet, you really have no idea what you’re missing. It’s made up of a sweet Danish dough that filled with either cherry or pineapple, and topped with cream cheese and a honey glaze. Really unique, and really tasty.

We typically only have these around Christmastime, but Fortuitea Cafe (in our hometown of Washington!) has dark chocolate-covered Buckeyes on the menu right now. Added bonus? They’re gluten and dairy-free.
