There are almost too many good things to eat and drink this weekend in Pittsburgh. Our weekend picks?

The newly-opened Station has some pretty amazing elevated dishes… but this burger, man, is so good. It’s topped with asiago fondue, onion jam, and a perfectly-prepared onion ring on a buttery Brioche bun. Consider us sufficiently impressed.

Hello Bistro (which just opened up a new outpost in McCandless), has a new Harvest Chicken and Squash salad on their updated Autumn menu, with roasted butternut squash, grilled chicken, dried cranberries, and fresh apples. It’s healthy, it’s seasonal, and it makes Friday lunch extra special.

ave we talked about how much we love Pittsburgh Po Boy? Because we do, so much. The New Orleans-inspired lunch spot in the Pittsburgh Public Market always has a bunch of different sandwiches on their menu, but our pick is their Grilled Shrimp po’ boy, covered in spicy Cajun remoulade. So, so good.

There’s a new sandwich at Carson Street Deli – and it’s worth a try. Their new ‘Roast Beast’ is made with thin-sliced roast beef, melted cheddar, caramelized onions and peppers, and topped with their house-made sriracha mayo on grilled ciabatta.

Cheers! While we love a classic Old Fashioned, Franktuary has a new Old Fashioned Autumn on the menu that has a sweet seasonal twist. Their version is made with rye, Applejack, maple, and house apple bitters.. and topped with a seasonally-appropriate cinnamon stick.

This is a game changer. Le Cupcake Shoppe has a new cupcake flavor, and it’s a pumpkin-spice explosion. Their ‘Pumpkin Fountain’ is vanilla cake, topped with vanilla buttercream, and dipped in a dripping, delicious pumpkin spice ganache. The shop’s selection of delectable mini cupcake flavors changes regularly, this weekend also features Milk & Cookies, Red Velvet, Caramel Cheesecake and Rice Krispies.
