Now this is meat and potatoes.
Fukuda just posted a shot of their latest special, a high-end take on a classic dish: Japanese Wagyu Kushiyaki beef, served with house-made wasabi mashed potatoes, and kabocha squash.
They’ve recently announced that Chef T.J. Barney is leaving the sushi house for a cross-country move, and he’s going out with a bang. To celebrate his last few weeks, they have an array of specials planned.
From now through September 1, Fukuda will be ordering a number of whole bluefin tunas, and will be serving special cuts of toro (otoro chutoro) and tuna loins.
They’ll also be flying in Puffer Fish (but no worries – not the venomous Japanese kind), and Japanese Fugu Fin served with hot-sake.
