It’s a new day at Gaucho!
The Strip District restaurant has recently announced that it has acquired a liquor license, and is now serving beer, wine and select cocktails.
As one of Pittsburgh’s best BYOBs, guests have always been encouraged to bring their own beer and wine to the restaurant. But, starting on October 29, Gaucho will offer a beer, wine and cocktail menu, and will no longer be a full BYOB. Fans of bringing-your-own, however, can still bring their own bottles of wine, though a corkage fee will apply.
Gaucho’s initial beer list includes selections like Northern Tier 2XIPA and Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale. In a Facebook post, the restaurant explained that they’re working with a selection of local breweries, and will be adding some Pittsburgh-made brews to their list once their full beverage program launches.
