Something sweet has landed in Pittsburgh.
One of the city’s favorite ice cream shops, Millie’s Homemade, has teamed up with Macaron Bar Pittsburgh to make macaron ice cream sandwiches!
These too-good-to-be-true treats sandwich a thick layer of Millie’s ice cream between two crunchy meringue cookies. Available in three of Millie’s most popular flavors – pistachio, chocolate, and Vietnamese coffee – you don’t want to miss out on this delectable partnership.
Sandwiches are available at both Millies locations, as well as the Macaron Bar kiosk at the Ross Park Mall.
Previously, some of the Macaron Bar ice cream sandwiches from their Cincinnati location were named one of Buzzfeed‘s “Best Ice Cream Sandwiches In America.”
Because they use almond flour, these treats are also gluten free.
