Put on those Lederhosen – it’s almost time for Oktoberfest!
Penn Brewery is hosting their annual Oktoberfest celebration the weekends of September 19 – 21, and September 26 – 28.
The event is open to the public, but they’re offering a select few VIP tickets (think special seating, a free meal, souvenir beer mug and indoor restrooms) for $30. They only have tickets left for Friday, September 26, so if you’re interested, you should claim them fast.
For the rest of us, Oktoberfest celebration hours are 5:00 p.m. to midnight, and 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Here’s what they’ll have on tap:
- Penn Oktoberfest
- Pilsner
- Kaiser Pils
- Gold
- Dark
- Weizen
- Cool River Kolsch
And lots of classic German dishes (plus a few non-classic dishes!) on the menu:
- Wurst Platter
- Brat Baguette
- Kielbasa Baguette
- Smoked Turkey Leg
- Hot German Potato Salad
- Soft Pretzels
- Apple Cobbler
And of course, there will be lots of “oompah-style” music.
If you want to see the full schedule, visit Penn Brewery’s site for all of the details.
Oh, and don’t worry about bad weather – with the big tent, Penn Brewery assures us that Oktoberfest is happening, rain or shine.
