Your dinner plans this week are set.
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox’s annual Greek Food Festival (now in its staggering 55th year), opened yesterday, and will be serving lunch and dinner daily through Saturday, May 14.
The popular food festival will feature homemade Greek specialties, including Souvlakia with rice (marinated skewers of lamb), Beef Stefatho (braised beef in tomato sauce), Pastitsio (macaroni, grated cheese and ground beef in cream sauce), Moussaka (eggplant and ground beef), Spanakopita (layers of phyllo filled with spinach and feta cheese) and Loukoumades (honey puffs with honey syrup). See their full menu online.
The festival will feature an outdoor grill, Greek music, and Greek dancing. And this year, they’re taking online orders Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner.
The festival runs Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
