We have some big news to announce at Good Food Pittsburgh… we’re launching a podcast!
Every week, join us (GFP’s Emily Catalano and Madeline Quigley) as we chat about Pittsburgh’s food and restaurant industry, from news about the latest restaurant openings in town, to our thoughts on the best under-the-radar spots you may not know about.
So, why a podcast?
Well, not only do we spend most of our days writing about Pittsburgh’s food scene for the site, we also spend a good portion of our time talking and texting each other about it, too.
And, as much as we love writing for the site every day, we wanted to expand what we offer to our audience, and find a way to let everyone else in on these conversations we have with each other. Good Food Pittsburgh Radio is our chance to do something a little different from our daily postings, and share more about what we know about eating in Pittsburgh with you.
This is all a big experiment for us (as it was when we launched the site), and we’re asking you to bear with us as we try out different formats, segment ideas and styles. We want this to be a resource for you as diners in Pittsburgh, and we want it to be fresh, informative and funny, too – everything we try to do when post on our site.
We’re planning to post our first episode on Monday, December 4.
