
For the second year in a row, the Allegheny Goatscape Goats, a troop of local goats that are used to naturally clear invasive and unwanted vegetation, are coming to clear land in the South Side Park. And to celebrate their arrival, South Side Park is hosting the second annual Goat Fest!
On Saturday, July 28 from noon until 4:00 p.m., the event will be held at two different locations within South Side Park.
At the Bandi Schaum Community Garden, there will be food trucks, live music, and vendors. And on the Paved Loop and Jurassic Valley, you’ll be able to meet the Allegheny Goatscape herd, and see their progress as they eat their way through the park. There will also be an additional craft vendor market on the Paved Loop Trail.

The event is free, open to the public, and rain or shine.
