It’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade weekend, and that means… lots of Kegs & Eggs.

Friday, March 10

Park on Tap: Enjoy an exclusive beer tasting from Allegheny City Brewing, and the not-yet-opened War Streets Brewery, while listening to live music. Proceeds will benefit the Pittsburgh Public Parks Conservancy’s work in Allegheny Commons. Read more online.

McBark & Brew: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Animal Friends. At this event, they’ll have samples of beers and local treats, and plenty of time for dogs to socialize. Tickets are $20 per person, and can be purchased online.

After Dark at Carnegie Museum: The Carnegie Museum’s latest After Dark series is inspired by ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ and will feature exhibits that highlight beauties and beasts in the natural world – and plenty of cocktails. Tickets to the 21+ event are $15 per person, and can be purchased online.

Saturday, March 11

Bloomfield Winter Market: Once a month during the winter, Bloomfield hosts a winter farmer’s market, with Zeke’s Cofffee, Old Time Farm, Sweet Alchemy Bake Shop, and more local vendors with produce and other food. Market hours are 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bloomfield Winter Market (5050 Liberty Avenue)

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Events: All over town, bars and restaurants will be open early to start celebrating as soon as possible. A few include: Kegs & Eggs at Cain’s Saloon, starting at 7:00 a.m., an All-Day Celebration at Revel + Roost, including a 7:00 a.m. party, and an after-parade party, Parade Day at Claddagh Irish Pub with live music all day, Kegs, Eggs & Pancakes (with free draft beer) at Micro Diner and Green Eggs & Big Ham, with a breakfast buffet starting at 7:00 a.m. at Bigham Tavern.

Irish Fair in the Square: Market Square is hosting an Irish Festival from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with lots of Irish products and food for sale, live music, Irish dancing, and green beer. Find out more online.

Sunday, March 12

Soup N’at at Union Project: Support local arts in Pittsburgh at Soup N’at, a quarterly event that raises funds for artists to realize their dream projects. A $10 donation will get you a bowl of soup, entertainment, beer, and the chance to vote on the project that will receive all of the evening’s proceeds. For more information, visit the event page.
