Friday, June 17
June BkSq Summer Series
Bakery Square’s Summer Series continues on Friday with craft beer (featuring Full Pint Brewing and Fat Head’s Saloon), and tons of food trucks (Nakama, Oh My Grill, Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, PGH Crepes, The Waffler Truck, PGH Pierogi Truck, Randita’s, Rolling Cones, BRGR, Le’s Oriental Concessions, Second Breakfast, Bella Christie & Lil’ Z’s Sweet Boutique, BRassero Grill, Kona Ice, Oakmont Barbecue Company and Thai Bites). The event is free, and wristbands can be purchased for $15 for three hours of drinking, plus beers will be available at the bar for $3. Full event info can be found here.

Millvale Food Truck Roundup
Three food trucks will be at Draai Laag Brewing Co. , and three food trucks will be at Grist House Craft Brewery for a full day and evening of food and beer fun in Millvale. Draai Laag trucks include Pittsburgh Smokehouse, Leona’s Food Truck and Brassero Grill. Grist House food trucks include Cool Beans, Franktuary and The Steer & Wheel. Squirrel Hill Night Market
Fashioned after the pop-up night markets in Asia, Squirrel Hill is kicking off their summer night market series with dozens of vendors selling crafts and handmade wares, plus lots of food – including treats from Yummyholic, Mac & Gold Truck, Stickler’s Ice Pops, La Palapaand PGH Crepes. Zeke’s Food Truck Roundup
Zeke’s Coffee and Voodoo Brewery are teaming up for a food truck, coffee and beer roundup at Zeke’s Broad Street roaster. Food trucks include Berlin Street Food, Southside BBQ Truck, Bulldawg’s Truck and PGH Taco Truck. The Roundup is happening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. See more info online.
Beer & Gear Festival at Ohiopyle
There will be music and beer sampling all day long at Ohiopyle for the outdoor fun fest. Tickets are $25 at the door, and include music and brews. See more information on their event page.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Gratitude Barleywine at East End Brewing
It’s going to be a big day for beer lovers. East End Brewing is releasing their Bourbon Barrel Aged Gratitude Barleywine, and reserving bottles for sale here.
Brew ‘N Chew
Brew ‘N Chew is happening at the Monroeville Convention Center, with dozens of craft, regional, national and international beers, plus food pairings, live music and tavern games. Tickets are $50 per person, and there are two sessions available: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information and tickets, visit their event page.

Black Forge Coffee House Introduces Alan’s Black Metal Donuts
Anytime we can get our hands on homemade doughnuts, we’re there. Black Forge Coffee House on Arlington Avenue is introducing homemade doughnuts (glazed, specialty – think Salted Caramel Coffee, and Maple Bacon), and you’ll want to get there early if you want to try them. Doughnut sales start at 10:00 a.m., and only six doughnuts will be sold per person. Yep, they’re that good. See more information here.
