Ready for some really sweet news?
Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop has opened a new location in Mt. Lebanon, just in time for Easter candy season.
The sweet shop, which also has locations in the Strip District, Downtown Pittsburgh, Beaver, and Ohio, opened the shop at 695 Washington Road (in the former Picadilly Artisan Yogurt space) late last week. The new location will feature much of the same inventory as their other locations, including hand-crafted chocolates (like Cookie Dough Truffles), nostalgic candies (Necco Wafers, Pixy Stix, Gummy Colas), international treats (like Kinder Eggs and Smatties), and their famous $5 candy buffet, too.
Like their other locations, Grandpa Joe’s Mt. Lebanon will also have a solid collection of soda bottles available for sale, with more than 265 varieties at the new shop, including Red Ribbon Almond Cream soda, Jamaica’s Finest Ginger Beer, Dad’s Blue Cream soda, and Green River soda.
You can also find novelty gifts, from doughnut-covered socks to Candylicious Bubbles.
The shop is open Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
