The ultimate guide to Pittsburgh Farmers Markets for 2018 is here!

After a long, cold winter, farmers market season is just around the corner! Luckily for us, the rural area of Western Pennsylvania provides so many farms, orchards, and producers that you can find a farmers market in the greater Pittsburgh area any day of the week!
This year, local non-profit Just Harvest has a Fresh Access program at 21 different farmers markets around the city, where they offer a token exchange that allows shoppers to use credit, debit and food stamp cards at the farmers market. For those who have food stamps or SNAP assistance, Just Harvest offers an extra $2 to spend on fruits and vegetables for every $5 they spend at the farmers market.
The complete Pittsburgh Farmers Market day-by-day guide is below.

Hi Emily! I have a client coming over from Australia (believe it or not his name is Leone Catalano) and he wanted to visit a farm market on Sunday, 10/21. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hi Phil! Your best bet for Sundays is going to be the Squirrel Hill Farmers Market, at the parking lot at Beacon and Bartlett. Sadly, Sunday is the lightest day of the week in terms of what farmers markets are available. Though, you may want to consider the Strip District – I always take out of town guests for shopping there!
I was wondering if the Amish people are at any of the farmers market………we love there cookies and can’t find them anywhere
You should do this again for 2019! I used this article a lot!
