Waffles, mimosas, and Eggs Benedict, oh my!
Palazzo 1837 Ristorante – the popular Italian eatery in Washington, PA – is beginning Sunday brunch service on June 3.
Stop by for live music, bottomless mimosas, a bloody mary bar, and much more.
The restaurant, which first opened in 2009, specializes in old-fashioned Northern and Southern Italian dishes – think steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, and veal. The restaurant is located on the historic Quail Acres Estate, inside of a beautiful, Palladian-style mansion, built in 1837.
For years, customers have been inquiring if the restaurant served weekend brunch. After much anticipation, Palazzo’s new brunch will be available every Sunday from 10:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m!
The menu can be seen below, and includes dishes like lobster & waffles, Eggs Benedict with crispy pork belly, and authentic Belgian waffles.

One of the standout item on the menu are the waffles. The owner of Palazzo discovered how to make waffles while visiting relatives in Belgium when he was 19, and has been perfecting the recipe in the years since. The waffles are cooked on an authentic Belgian iron, which was imported to the states.
A beverage to look out for is the “Sunny Weisse,” which is a play on a traditional, European summer drink called the Radler. The Radler traditionally features Hefe-Weisse wheat beer blended with fresh-pressed Lemonade. Palazzo’s version is a bright and refreshing beer cocktail made with Cointreau and OJ.
