Start your week off on the right foot at Hitchhiker Brewing in Castle Shannon. The brewery is releasing its new Breakfast Stout, ‘Woke’ this Sunday, February 19th.
The beer will be on tap at the brewery from noon to 6:00 p.m. Even better, Hitchhiker is pairing the drink with donuts from the South Side’s Just Good Donuts. Patrons will have the chance to munch on “Coco Crunch,” a doughnut topped with Cocoa Pebbles, or the “Vindaloo Maple Bacon Spiced,” a spicy maple doughnut covered in bacon, which is one of the shop’s most popular varieties.
This is the second Breakfast Stout released by Hitchhiker. Last year they released ‘Cold Brew,’ a stout brewed with vanilla, coffee, and cocoa nibs.
‘Woke’ was brewed with Mexican Huatusco coffee beans, maple syrup, Vietnamese cinnamon sticks, and Madagascar vanilla bean.
