Go whole hog at Cure.

The food-forward Lawrenceville restaurant is hosting a hog butchering demo on Sunday, February 22, starting at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person, and include the demo, a family meal, plus East End Brewing brews throughout the afternoon.

They’ve also just announced their menu for their prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu, and still have (just a couple) of seats left. Seats are $95 per person, plus $45 for an optional wine pairing.

Cure’s Valentine’s Day Menu:

Island Creek Oysters: Grapefruit, lavender, fennel, and long pepper

Artichokes à la Périgord: Black truffle, burnt lemon fromage blanc, fried garlic, cured egg yolk and chervil

Roasted Onion and Vadouvan Bouillon: Scallop, clam, mussel, octopus, roasted apple, pearl onion and parsnip

Smoked Pekin Duck Breast: Spiced Red Cabbage, vanilla carrot custard, blood orange, black garlic, and cilantro

Slow-Roasted Veal Neck Ravioli: Lobster and Root Vegetable Bolonese, basil, veal jus, whipped ricotta, black olive oil

Chocolate Soufflé Cake: Burnt fennel pollen meringue, concord grape must, pistachio nut butter, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil

To make reservations for either event, call Cure at 412-252-2595.
