Go whole hog at Cure.
The food-forward Lawrenceville restaurant is hosting a hog butchering demo on Sunday, February 22, starting at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $85 per person, and include the demo, a family meal, plus East End Brewing brews throughout the afternoon.
They’ve also just announced their menu for their prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu, and still have (just a couple) of seats left. Seats are $95 per person, plus $45 for an optional wine pairing.
Cure’s Valentine’s Day Menu:
Island Creek Oysters: Grapefruit, lavender, fennel, and long pepper
Artichokes à la Périgord: Black truffle, burnt lemon fromage blanc, fried garlic, cured egg yolk and chervil
Roasted Onion and Vadouvan Bouillon: Scallop, clam, mussel, octopus, roasted apple, pearl onion and parsnip
Smoked Pekin Duck Breast: Spiced Red Cabbage, vanilla carrot custard, blood orange, black garlic, and cilantro
Slow-Roasted Veal Neck Ravioli: Lobster and Root Vegetable Bolonese, basil, veal jus, whipped ricotta, black olive oil
Chocolate Soufflé Cake: Burnt fennel pollen meringue, concord grape must, pistachio nut butter, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil
