
Celebrate Pittsburgh’s neighborhood food traditions during GoodTaste! Pittsburgh’s Hometown-Homegrown festival, featuring dozens of local chefs and restaurants.
The day-long event will be held on Saturday, June 27 at the Heinz History Center (1212 Smallman Street), starting at 10:00 a.m.
More than 40 Pittsburgh food vendors will be sharing samples, and local chefs will be offering cooking demonstrations. Attendees can enjoy live music, food scavenger hunts, history food tours, and more activities throughout the day.
And, they’re featuring a Cookbook Exchange, where guests can swap old cookbooks for new favorites.
The demonstration schedule includes:
- 10:30 a.m. –Trevett Hooper, Legume
- 11:30 a.m. – Aaron Hoover, Art Institute of Pittsburgh
- 12:00 p.m. – Brew Gentlemen
- 1:00 p.m. – Sonja Finn, Dinette
- 2:00 p.m. – Chris Fennimore, QED Cooks
Tickets for Hometown-Homegrown are $15, and will be sold at the door.
