Honeygrow, the Philadelphia-based fast casual restaurant chain with an emphasis on stir fry dishes and fresh salads, has officially announced an opening date for the eatery’s first Pittsburgh location.
The restaurant will open its doors in East Liberty on Friday, September 8.
The menu will feature a range of healthy options, including vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Honeygrow’s stir-fry and salad options include signature choices, like:
- The Roast Pork: Freshly-made egg white noodles, Yards Brawler au jus, roast pork, organic baby spinach, broccoli, red onion, chili flakes, asiago shavings
- Spicy Garlic: Freshly-made egg white noodles, roasted chicken, Bell peppers, broccoli, red onions, pinapple, parsley
- Red Coconut Curry: Rice noodles, roasted spicy tofu, pineapples, jalapenos, bean sprouts, scallions, cilantro
- Make it Grain: Orange sherry vinaigrette, wheat berries, red quinoa, arugula, grapes, roasted carrots, feta, roasted cashews
Or, guests can choose to build their own stir fry bowls and salads.
Honeygrow also features honeybars, a dessert line with fresh fruit, local honey, yogurt, dark chocolate chips, and house-made whipped cream.
To celebrate the opening on September 8, the first 100 customers will receive a complimentary meal, with the option to donate the price of their meal to Common Threads, a Pittsburgh non-profit organization that brings health and wellness to families through cooking and nutrition education.
Honeygrow East Liberty will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
