An afternoon full of food and beer… and it’s for a good cause? Count us in.
For the third year in a row, Hop Farm Brewing Company will be hosting Hoptoberfest, their annual harvest beer and food pairing festival.
The event is happening on Sunday, September 25 from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., and will feature between 22 and 25 food and beer pairings from local restaurants, culinary experts, and local and national breweries.
Each attendee will receive a commemorative glass for samples, and each beer tasting will be paired with a small bite. The event will also feature live music from local bands The Shameless Hex, The Semi Supervillians and Slim Forsythe.
As in previous years, all (yes, all!) of the proceeds for the event benefit Camp Chihopi, and annual summer camp for children who have undergone a transplant at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital.
Tickets are $55 per person, and can be purchased online.
Hoptoberfest will take place on 56th Street between Butler and Harrison Streets, and the event is rain or shine.
