Threadbare Cider is now taking reservations for brunch at the cidery on Sunday, May 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Mimosa Brunch will feature brunch pizzas, sourdough French toast, breakfast sandwiches and a ‘build-your-own mimosa’ menu. Mother’s Day Bon Vivant Brunch at V&V Scratch Kitchen
V&V Scratch Kitchen in Finleyville is hosting a Bon Vivant Brunch on Sunday, May 9. Tickets are $125/person (kids five and under are free, and kids 6-10 are $35). Sunday Brunch Takeout at DiAnoia’s Eatery
DiAnoia’s Eatery is relauching their Sunday brunch program on Mother’s Day, May 9. While they’re currently on a waitlist for in-person dining for Mother’s Day, the Strip District restaurant is accepting takeout orders online for their full brunch menu, along with a $25 Mother’s Day prix fixe with Zeppole, a main course (prosciutto Eggs benedict, French Toast, or a veggie scramble), and a cocktail to go. Take-Home Mother’s Day Meal Kit from Poulet Bleu
Each Mother’s Day meal kit from Poulet Bleu costs $50 per person, and comes with toasted baguette, a Kale Caesar salad, Beef Bourguignon, sides, and mango cheesecake. Orders must be placed by Sunday, May 2, and can be made online. Poulet Bleu (3517 Butler Street)
Mother’s Day Brunch Kits from Wild Child
Chef Jamilka Borges’ Wild Child is close to opening in Etna, and in the meantime, you can enjoy a Mother’s Day Brunch kit. Each kit feeds two to four people (two adults and two kids), and are $50 each. Kits include a Ramp, potato and chevre Quiche, asparagus salad, hibiscut and mixed perry pop tarts, chocolate brioche, strawberry preserves, and flowers. Rosé Sunday Brunch at Spirits + Tales
On Sunday, May 9, Spirits + Tales in Oakland is hosting a Rosé All Day Brunch, featuring their full brunch menu (options include Pain Perdu with thick-cut Challah bread and apple cranberry jam and Smoked Salmon Toast with smoked salmon and whipped caper cream cheese), and the restaurant will also be offering a special rosé wine tasting flight. Mother’s Day Brunch at Square Café
East Liberty’s Square Café will be open on Mother’s Day for Sunday brunch (and their rooftop is now open). For Mother’s Day, the restaurant will be serving their full brunch menu, plus a selection of Mother’s Day specials, including Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes and a Shrimp & Langostino Frittata. Take & Bake Brunch and Dinner at Alta Via
Alta Via is offering take-and-bake brunch and dinner options, available for pickup, along with reservations for dine-in service on Mother’s Day. The take-and-bake brunch option includes a family-sized quiche, sticky buns, salad and potatoes for $75 (serves four), and dinner options include lasagna or salmon. Spoonwood Brewing is now taking reservations for lunch and dinner on Mother’s Day, with indoor and outdoor seating available. Braised Chicken Pasta Takeout Dinner at Pane è Pronto
This Mother’s Day, Pane è Pronto by DiAnoia’s Eatery is offering a braised chicken pasta takeout dinner. Each meal is $38 and serves two, and features a mixed berry salad, braised chicken over creamy cavatelli primavera, and a chocolate strawberry torta. Birch Creek Farmery in Burgettstown is hosting their first event of the season with a Mother’s Day brunch on May 9.
