Pittsburgh now has a new place for you to get a sweet treat – or to have it delivered to your door.
The long-awaited Insomnia Cookies is officially open at 115 Meyran Avenue in Oakland, serving fresh, warm cookies straight from the oven. You’ll find classic cookies like Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, Classic M&M, Double Chocolate Mint, White Chocolate Macadamia, and Peanut Butter Chip, along with deluxe cookie options like Triple Chocolate Chunk, S’mores and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.
Insomnia Cookies also serves cookie ice cream sandwiches, cookie cakes, and cookies a la mode.
This seriously good cookie chain started in Philadelphia in 2003 (we were enjoying them as undergraduates at Temple University back in the day!), and now has dozens of locations across the country.
Insomnia Cookies offers online delivery until 3:00 a.m. every day, with a $6 minimum order.
The chain’s second Pittsburgh location is slated to open shortly on the South Side at 1734 East Carson Street.
Insomnia Cookies Oakland is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
