The North Shore is about to get another drinking and dining option.
Southern Tier Brewing Company has just announced plans to open its first satellite facility in Pittsburgh, within walking distance of Heinz Field and PNC Park.
The new brewpub will feature a full food menu, plus a massive lineup of both classic STBC beers, and Pittsburgh-specific brews. It will also feature a smaller version of the brewery’s custom made, German-built brewhouse, and a patio and beer garden.
Southern Tier, a Lakewood, New York brewery that’s known for innovative brews like Crème Brulee Stout, Right-O-Way IPA, and Pumpking, has been steadily expanding since its launch in 2002. The brewery currently ships to 33 states, and recently announced an alliance with Downington’s Victory Brewing Company.
The brewpub is slated to open this summer.
